Pathway Family Services is a 501C3 Non-profit corporation, licensed to provide foster care and adoption services in the state of California. Pathway has been providing employment opportunities since 2006 and is interested in hiring qualified candidates who are passionate about serving the needs of children placed into the foster care system.
Due to continuous growth, Pathway regularly has need for additional team members in our Central Valley Region, Central Coast Region and our Southern California Region.

Social worker needed for Intensive Services Foster Care Program in Northern Santa Barbara County
Job description is in essence to provide trauma informed support for a small caseload of foster children who are placed into our Intensive Services Foster Care Program. Person is on-call on a mutually agreed upon schedule. Person serves as a liaison for child and family to connect to supportive services. Psycho-social assessments for resource and adoptive families may be required. A detailed job description can be provided upon request. Current positions are available in Santa Maria/Lompoc, CA.
Job Type: Full-time
Days: As assigned by competent high authority. May be periodically required to perform out of area and overnight travel.
Salary Range: To Be Determined based on experience and education.
Social Work/ Home Study Practitioner
Job description is to complete home studies/family evaluations for resource family applicants. The position will require interviewing of all family members, assessing/ mitigating, and writing an evaluation based on the interviews and collateral information received from the agency. Excellent rapport building skills, interviewing skills, and writing skills are required. A writing sample may be requested during the interview.

Job description is in essence to provide therapeutic foster care for a small caseload of foster children who are placed into our foster family/resource homes. Psycho-social assessments for resource and adoptive families will be required. A detailed job description can be provided upon request. Current positions are available in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
Reliable Transportation is required. Must past Criminal Background Check.
